The 3M™ PELTOR™ X4 Earmuffs are our lightweight, slim hearing protectors featuring innovative foam earcup inserts and spacers to help increase attenuation and provide protection against low frequencies. Available in headband, helmet-mounted, and neckband versions. The headband model features a double headband with electrical insulation to reduce heat buildup at the top of the head. Depending on user preferences or application needs, helmet attachment versions are available with dielectric insulation or sturdy metal arms.

For high-performance hearing protection against moderate to high noise levels, use the 3M™ PELTOR™ X4 Earmuffs. These earmuffs have a high-visibility bright green color code, making it easier to select the correct protection level from the X Series range. Combining 3M’s renowned hearing protection expertise with advanced technology, these earmuffs include a specially designed spacer and pad technology to enhance noise reduction without increasing bulk or weight. The result is a lighter, more streamlined high-attenuation earmuff that reduces noise by up to 32 dB. The headband model features a double, electrically insulated headband to minimize heat buildup, while the plastic-coated stainless steel wire makes it the most robust headband 3M offers. They are durable and comfortable, with a wide, flat headband covered in soft plastic for stable pressure on the head. With no exposed metal, the product is dielectric, offering electrical resistance in environments with potential spark or discharge hazards. The molded sliders ensure easy adjustment to the head. Wide, soft foam cushions provide comfort, and the slim cups improve compatibility with other protective equipment. The helmet-mounted version is available as the P5 model with the same dielectric performance as the headband version. Alternatively, for applications not requiring electrical insulation, the P3 helmet and neckband model is available. Cushions and foam inserts are available as hygiene kits and are easy to replace, extending product life.
