3M™ PELTOR™ X2 earmuffs are our innovative hearing protectors with a slim, modern cup design. They are available as headband, helmet-mounted, and neckband versions. The headband model features a double, electrically insulated headband that helps reduce heat buildup on top of the head. Depending on user preference or application, helmet-mounted versions are available with dielectric insulation or sturdy metal arms.

For high-performance hearing protection against moderate noise levels, use 3M™ PELTOR™ X2 earmuffs. These earmuffs are color-coded yellow, making it easier to select the correct protection level from the X Series range. The headband model features a double, electrically insulated design that helps reduce heat buildup and uses a plastic-coated stainless steel wire, making it the most robust headband 3M offers. They are both durable and comfortable, with a wide, flat headband coated in soft plastic that provides a stable pressure across the top of the head. There is no exposed metal, meaning the product is "dielectric," offering electrical resistance in environments where sparks or discharges may occur. The carefully molded sliders allow for easy adjustment. The wide, soft foam cushions enhance comfort, while the slim cups offer improved compatibility with other protective equipment. The helmet-mounted version is available as a P5 model with the same dielectric performance as the headband version. If electrical insulation is not required, the P3 helmet-mounted and neckband model is also available. Cushions and foam inserts are available as hygiene kits, making them easy to replace if worn or damaged, helping extend product life.
