3M™ Protective Coverall 4520 is designed to offer multiple layers of SMMMS, strength and effective resistance with a lightweight of only 43 g/m². Thanks to its excellent breathability and softness, with a fabric-like feel, it can be worn comfortably for extended periods and protects against static discharge, hazardous particles and liquid splashes of Type 5/6.

Use 3M™ Protective Coverall 4520 for protection against dirt, splashes, and toxic dust, including nuclear particles. It meets various standards for chemical protective clothing, including EN 1149 for antistatic properties, EN 1073-2 for protection against radioactive particles, EN ISO 13688, EN 13034 for Type 6 liquid splash protection and EN ISO 13982-1 for airborne solid particles Type 5. It is easily identifiable by the green triangle, made from the same 43 g/m² SMMMS as the rest of the garment. This protective garment is designed to reduce weight and maintain performance by incorporating multiple layers. It is made of SMMMS, consisting of a spunbond layer on the inner and outer sides and 3 layers of meltblown material in the middle. The spunbond material provides softness, strength and splash protection, while the meltblown layers form a complex multilayer web of microfibres that filter dry particles. The soft, breathable and very lightweight non-woven material facilitates the release of body heat and moisture and improves comfort during prolonged wear to increase workplace productivity. It offers antistatic performance according to EN 1149 to minimize discharge and the risk of sparks and ignition. 3M™ Protective Coverall 4520 is suitable for particle-based applications such as pharmaceutical processes and handling of toxic dusts.
