The 3M™ PELTOR™ X1 Earmuffs are our lightweight hearing protectors with soft and comfortable cushions. They are available in headband, helmet-mounted and neckband versions. The headband model features a double headband with electrical insulation that reduces heat buildup at the top of the head. Depending on user preferences or application needs, helmet-attached versions are available with dielectric insulation or with robust metal arms.

For high-performance hearing protection against low to moderate noise levels, use the 3M™ PELTOR™ X1 Earmuffs. With their lightweight design and low-profile cups, they are ideal where overprotection is a concern. The 3M PELTOR X1 Earmuffs are the first level of protection in the X Series and have green color coding, making it easier to select the right level of protection. The headband version features a double headband design with electrical insulation that helps reduce heat buildup, and the stainless steel wire coated in plastic makes it the most robust headband offered by 3M. They are durable and comfortable, with a wide, flat headband covered in soft plastic for stable pressure on top of the head. There is no exposed metal, meaning the product is "dielectric" — providing electrical resistance in environments with risk of sparks or electrical discharges. The precisely molded sliders ensure easy adjustment to the head. Wide, soft foam cushions help users stay comfortable, and the slim cups improve compatibility with other protective equipment. The helmet-mounted version meets work requirements or user preferences and is available as P5 with the same dielectric performance as the headband version. Alternatively, if electrical insulation is not required, the P3 version is available for helmet and neckband use. Cushions and foam inserts, available in hygiene kits, are easy to replace when worn or damaged, helping extend the product's life.
