The 3M™ PELTOR™ X2 Earmuffs are our innovative hearing protectors featuring a slim and modern cup design. They are available in headband, helmet-mounted and neckband versions. The headband model features a double headband with electrical insulation that helps reduce heat buildup at the top of the head. Depending on user preferences or application needs, helmet-attached versions are available with dielectric electrical insulation or with robust metal arms.

For high-performance hearing protection against moderate noise levels, use the 3M™ PELTOR™ X2 Earmuffs. The yellow color coding makes it easier to select the correct level of protection from the X Series range. The headband model features a double headband design with electrical insulation to help reduce heat buildup at the top of the head, and the stainless steel wire covered in plastic makes this the most robust headband offered by 3M. These earmuffs are both durable and comfortable, with a wide, flat headband coated in soft plastic that ensures a stable pressure across the top of the head. With no exposed metal, the product is considered "dielectric", providing electrical resistance in environments with potential for sparks or electrical discharge. The precisely molded sliders ensure the earmuffs adjust easily to the head. The wide, soft foam cushions help users stay comfortable, while the slim cups offer better compatibility with other personal protective equipment. The helmet-mounted version suits various work environments or user preferences and is available as P5 with the same dielectric performance as the headband version. Alternatively, if electrical insulation is not required, the P3 version is available for helmet mounting and neckband use. Cushion and foam insert hygiene kits are available and easy to replace when worn or damaged, helping extend product life.
