Our system takes only a few seconds to measure 7 standard frequencies and provides a simple pass/fail rating for each employee’s Personal Attenuation Rating (PAR), making it easier to train on the importance of fit.

To ensure your team receives the protection they need, you must know each person’s Personal Attenuation Rating (PAR). Our system saves time as the dual microphone measures both ears simultaneously. The process is extremely fast and simple, taking only five seconds to measure the dB of protection inside both ears. The software integrates seamlessly and results can be printed and electronically stored for future reference and comparisons. Determining each employee’s PAR is the first step in making a hearing conservation program effective. Once measured, you can determine whether the protection used is adequate and ensure they receive the training necessary to use it correctly. We design our hearing protection products to be compatible with validation by probing earplugs and earmuff cushions for use with the system. You can test the exact 3M hearing protection you use in the system and train on the actual products you use with specially probed versions. The kit is supplied as a complete system including software and comes in a rugged, compartmentalized carrying case.
