3M™ PELTOR™ Helmet Mounted Earmuffs, X4P3E, Orange (10 Units per Box)

The 3M™ PELTOR™ X4 earmuffs are our lightweight, low-profile hearing protectors featuring innovative foam inserts in the earcups and specially designed spacers to enhance attenuation and protect against low-frequency noise. Available in headband, helmet-mounted, and neckband versions. The headband model features an electrically insulated double headband that reduces heat buildup on top of the head. Depending on the user’s preference or application requirements, helmet attachments are available with dielectric insulation or sturdy metal arms.

For high-performance hearing protection in moderate to high noise environments, use the 3M™ PELTOR™ X4 earmuffs. They feature a bright green high-visibility color, helping to easily identify the correct protection level within the X series range. Combining 3M’s hearing protection expertise with advanced technology, these earmuffs include a specially designed spacer and pad technology that enhance noise reduction without increasing bulk or weight. The result is a lightweight, more streamlined earmuff that still reduces noise up to 32 dB. The headband version features an electrically insulated double headband to reduce heat buildup and a stainless steel wire coated in plastic for durability—making it the toughest 3M offers. The wide, flat headband is coated in soft plastic to ensure stable pressure and comfort. With no exposed metal parts, the product is "dielectric," providing electrical resistance for use in spark- or arc-prone environments. The smoothly molded sliders allow for easy adjustment, and the wide, soft foam cushions offer extended comfort. The slim cups ensure good compatibility with other PPE. The helmet-mounted version comes in the P5 model with the same dielectric performance as the headband version, or the P3 model with helmet and neckband configuration when electrical insulation is not required. Cushions and foam inserts are available as hygiene kits, which are easy to replace and help extend product life.
