The 3M™ bayonet-type gas, vapor, and particulate filters are versatile, ergonomic, and easy to install. Designed to enhance the field of vision, they feature a low-profile, curved design. Installing them is simple—just select the appropriate filter for your needs, align the connection, and twist the filter a quarter-turn to secure it in place. These filters are compatible with 3M™ half-face masks from the 6000 series, 6500QL series, 7500 series, and 3M™ full-face masks from the 6000 series, helping to reduce inventory needs. Comfortable breathing: The 3M™ bayonet-type gas, vapor, and particulate filters are designed to balance breathability and extended service life. The gas and vapor filters use activated carbon particles to absorb contaminants and filter the air. 3M™ has engineered the filters to facilitate breathing while ensuring a long service life by optimizing the filter’s layers, the depth of the carbon bed, the geometry of the filter body, and the particle size of the carbon. The 3M™ bayonet-type gas, vapor, and particulate filters* provide protection against a wide variety of gases, vapors, and particulates.
