Use the 3M™ Protective Garment 4540+ to achieve an excellent barrier against particles and splashes of certain liquids. The clean white 3M™ Protective Garment 4540+ with a blue triangular back panel meets various standards for protective clothing against chemicals, including EN 1073-2 Resistance to radioactive particles, EN 1149 Antistatic, EN ISO 13688, Type 6 Liquid Splash EN 13034, and Type 5 Dust EN ISO 13982-1. It is made with a sophisticated non-woven bicomponent that offers high tensile strength and is covered with a microporous laminate with an extremely low level of fiber shedding to provide an excellent barrier against hazardous splashes. Lightweight and soft, it has excellent drape and is comfortable to wear for extended periods. The SMMMS back panel offers increased breathability to reduce thermal stress in warm environments. The woven cuffs are soft and comfortable, and the elastic waistband and ankles provide a good fit and allow for freedom of movement. The 3-panel hood design is compatible with additional PPE (personal protective equipment). The two-way zippers and fully sealable flaps reduce the risk of skin exposure and protect against contaminants. This protective garment has an anti-static coating in accordance with EN 1149, which reduces static discharge and minimizes the risk of sparks.
