The durable 3M™ 971 Floor Marking Tape consists of a vinyl backing with a rubber adhesive. The thick and tough vinyl backing withstands pallet dragging and heavy forklift traffic. This tape is designed for long-term floor marking but can be cleanly removed in one piece even after several years on the floor.
Heavy-Duty Tape for High-Traffic Areas. The durable 3M™ 971 Floor Marking Tape is specifically designed to withstand high-traffic areas. Its colors remain vivid even when exposed to heavy abrasion, such as pallet dragging and heavy equipment. The strong backing has a low profile and resists curling, preventing edge lifting that could shorten the lifespan of floor marking tapes. The rubber adhesive ensures a strong bond to floors but can still be removed cleanly in one piece, even after prolonged use. This tape has no liner and can be easily applied using the 3M™ M-1 Lane Marking Applicator or by hand. It is ideal for 5S lean manufacturing initiatives and is available in various colors and widths up to 61 cm.
