3M™ Face Shield Series 5, Polycarbonate, Clear, 5F-11 (10 Units per Box)

The 3M™ Series 5 Face Shields are a range of polycarbonate, acetate, and mesh visors certified to EN 166:2001 and EN 1731:2006, designed to protect against high-speed particle impact and other industrial or forestry hazards. These face shields are designed to fit 3M™ SecureFit™ Safety Helmets X5000, X5500, and G3000, as well as the G500 headgear.

All 3M™ Series 5 clear face shields are EN 166 certified and designed to offer protection against a variety of industrial hazards, including high-speed particles, ultraviolet and infrared radiation, secondary welding light, and liquid or molten metal splashes. All mesh face shields in the 3M™ Series 5 range are EN 1731:2006 certified and designed to provide eye and face protection against flying chips and small branches while preventing fogging and allowing better ventilation when working outdoors in demanding conditions. Our range of clear, green, and gold-plated shields is available in curved or flat designs. They are optical class 1 and provide medium energy (120 m/s) impact protection rated B, except for the 5H, which offers low-energy (45 m/s) impact protection rated F, and the 5A-CPF, which provides low-energy (45 m/s) protection and meets thermal conditioning requirements between 55 °C and -5 °C rated FT. The 5F-11, 5A-CPF, and 5E-11 shields feature an anti-fog coating. *3M face shields attach to 3M safety helmets via 3M face shield holders or directly to the 3M headgear. All 3M™ Series 5 face shields are compatible with integrated safety spectacles on the 3M™ V9 helmet and a wide range of 3M™ PELTOR™ hearing and communication protectors.
